Catch a Monster Spirit Grove Guide (2026)
Spirit Grove is the newest island added to Catch a Monster in the February 13, 2026 update. It is a high-level zone designed for endgame players (Level 65+), and defeating its boss — Frostwyrm — is the only way to unlock the Level 70 cap. This guide covers everything on the island.

How to reach Spirit Grove: Use the island teleport menu (M key while on your mount Aquron). Spirit Grove is listed after Dunevil Isle in the progression order.

Frostwyrm Attack Pattern
2 skills total with approximately 8-second cooldown between uses AOE skill (area-of-effect) — hit all players/pets in range No crit rate (this may be a bug) Known bug (as of Feb 2026): The AOE skill deals 0 damage and 0 stun. This makes Frostwyrm easier than intended — likely to be patched.
How to Unlock Level 70
- Travel to Spirit Grove
- Defeat Frostwyrm at least once
- The "Kill Frost" achievement triggers automatically
- Your level cap increases from 65 to 70
Recommended team: 2x Eclipse Knight A + Undine B. Frostwyrm is manageable with standard endgame teams.
Solron Evolution Guide
Solron is evolved from Gildron (obtainable from Gildron Eggs during the Valentine 2026 event).

Farming Refined Ground Gems
The biggest bottleneck is the 21 Refined Ground Gems. Farm Aurobull on Dunevil Isle (approximately 15-minute respawn). Server hop to maximize kill rate.
Frostwyrm Egg Contents
Frostwyrm Egg hatches into ice/dragon type monsters including Glaciron and potentially Frostwyrm itself at various ranks (E through S).
Note: There have been reports of Frostwyrm Egg not dropping even when the player had first hit and the kill. This appears to be a bug — if it happens to you, rejoin the server and check your inventory before filing a report.
Known Bugs on Spirit Grove (Feb 2026)
Frostwyrm AOE skill deals 0 damage (makes boss too easy — expect a patch) Glaciron has only 1 skill and no crit rate (may be incomplete implementation) Auto-sell does not work on Spirit Grove area (items must be sold manually) AFK reconnect on private servers teleports players to Spirit Grove / Sky Island instead of their original server
