How to Find Flora in Catch a Monster (2026)

Flora (also known as Florella) is widely considered the rarest naturally-spawning monster in Catch a Monster. Despite being catchable in the wild, its strict spawn requirements make it extraordinarily difficult to encounter. However, if you do find one — even at D-rank — it is currently one of the strongest monsters in the entire game.

How Strong is Flora?

Flora's power level will surprise most players:

RankApproximate Damage
:---:---
D-rank~60,000 damage
Higher ranksScales significantly

For comparison, Gingerjoy at D-rank dealt approximately 30,000 damage when it was considered "broken" in December 2025. Flora at D-rank is roughly 2x stronger.

This makes Flora an exceptional discovery — a D-rank Flora you find in the wild is immediately one of your best monsters.

Exact Spawn Requirements

Flora has two conditions that must be met simultaneously:

RequirementDetail
:---:---
WeatherAurora
Time of DayNight

Both conditions must be active at the same time. Aurora weather during the day will NOT spawn Flora. Night time without Aurora will NOT spawn Flora. You need Aurora AND Night together.

Exact Spawn Location

Flora does not spawn on the main Neverland island area. It spawns on a specific small island:

Go to Neverland Island From the Neverland spawn point, look to your LEFT There is a small island connected to or near the main Neverland area Flora appears only on this small island when the weather conditions are met

How to Find Aurora + Night Weather

Weather Cycle

Weather in Catch a Monster cycles through several types in sequence Aurora is a special weather type that occurs less frequently than standard weathers Night is a time-of-day state that cycles with Day

Efficient Farming Strategy

  1. Monitor weather continuously: Stay on any island and watch the weather indicator at the top of your screen
  2. Server hop: Leave your current server and rejoin a new one to "reroll" the weather. Different servers are at different points in the weather cycle.
  3. When you find Aurora: Check if it coincides with Night. If it is daytime during Aurora, wait in the same server — Night should arrive in the same weather cycle, OR server hop again to find an Aurora + Night server.
  4. Immediately go to Neverland: Once you have Aurora + Night confirmed, travel to Neverland and check the small island on the left.
  5. Be fast: Other players in the server will also know about Flora and rush the same spot.

Catch Tips

First-hit competition: Other players in the server will rush Flora spawn simultaneously. Who catches it is first-come-first-served. Catch balls: Use the highest-tier catch ball you have available. Flora is rare and you do not want to miss. Private Server advantage: If you have a private server, you can hunt Flora without competition. Just server hop through private servers to find one with Aurora + Night.

Is Flora Worth Hunting?

Absolutely — if efficiency is your goal:

✅ Strongest D-rank wild monster in the game ✅ No evolution or fusion required — it is powerful immediately ✅ Can be ranked up by fusing 5 D-rank Floras into C-rank, then B-rank, etc. ✅ If you find a Shiny Flora, it retains the shiny through fusion (1 shiny + 4 normal = shiny result)

The main downside is pure time investment. Flora hunting is worth dedicating a session to if you have patience for weather server-hopping.
